GCM Video Education Series

In an effort to raise awareness especially among migrants on the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration (GCM), we in the Asia Pacific Mission for Migrants (APMM) are pleased to share with you our GCM Video Education Series.

The GCM Video Education Series is a set of five short videos aimed to acquaint migrants with the GCM and its ongoing process and the relevance of migrants’ engagement in it. The videos are part of our education campaign on the GCM and migrants' advocacy.

We are releasing this video education series during the time of the GCM's Asia-Pacific Regional Review happening from March 10-12, 2021.

Four of the videos were taken from the Virtual Migrants’ Dialogue on the GCM organized by the Asia Pacific Mission for Migrants (APMM) last October 30, 2020 and attended by more than 80 participants, composed mainly of migrants.

The fifth video presents the Regional Migrants’ Agenda, which consolidated the issues and recommendations agreed upon by participants of the Virtual Conference on the GCM and the Regional Migrants’ Agenda held on October 21 and 22, 2020 and participated in mainly 50 migrants, advocates and service providers.
