Asia Pacific Mission for Migrants (APMM), Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network (APRRN) and Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development (APWLD) co-organize hybrid side event during the Second Asia Pacific Regional Review of Implementation of GCM.

The side event “Advocating Grassroots Migrants’ and Refugees’ Participation in the GCM, Spotlighting Migrant and Refugee Indicators in the GCM” will be happening on Tuesday, 4 February 2025, 12.30 – 13.45 at Room F, UNCC, Bangkok, Thailand and Zoom.

The side event aims to amplify the joint advocacy initiatives and cooperation of migrants and refugees in the GCM process; Share GCM indicators that have been compiled by refugees and migrants collectively; Discuss good practices that have been implemented by relevant stakeholders to address issues faced by migrants and refugees; and Be an avenue for genuine cooperation among civil society, governments, and the UN to address the root causes of migration and its impacts on vulnerable communities in the region.
