APMM’s Engagement with the 7th Southeast Asia Multi-Stakeholder Forum

7th Southeast Asia Multi-Stakeholder Forum is a sub regional (Southeast Asia) multi stakeholder forum on SDGs, as part of the preparation for the 2024 High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development review of SDGs 1 (No Poverty), 2 (Zero Hunger), 13 (Climate Action), 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). The event was organized by UNESCAP Sub regional Office for Southeast Asia on 6-7 November 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand.

APMM was also invited to speak at session 5 of the forum, to talk about SDG 16 – Synergies on the Global Compact for Migration (GCM) in Southeast Asia. The organizer sent 2 questions to guide our presentation, which is more focused on migrant’s access to justice.

APMM was presented by Dewi Amelia, one of the APMM’s staff on Advocacy and Campaigns Program. Please read the presentation during the session 5 here.
