The side event is part of the continuing creation of spaces for grassroots migrants, especially women and Indigenous migrant workers, in championing their causes to uphold their rights, welfare and dignity, particularly in the aspects of occupational health, social protection and wellbeing, and hopefully will contribute to the implementation of SDG 3 (health), 5 (gender) and 8 (decent work).
