APMM supported Mary Jane Veloso's family visit to Yogyakarta.

Last June 2023, Mary Jane Veloso’s parents and two sons travelled to Yogyakarta, Indonesia to visit Mary Jane in her place of detention in Wonosari, an almost two-hour drive from the city center. After five long years since the last time they were together, they were able to reunite and spend a significant time with Mary Jane for two days.

Mary Jane Veloso is​ a Filipina domestic worker who is a​ victim of drug and human trafficking who is still languishing in jail in Indonesia. The Global Campaign to free Mary Jane Veloso continuous, with collective prayer, actions and solidarity, with renewed commitment and resolve. #FreeMaryJane
