Watch: Regional Women Migrants Agenda Video

In 2022, Asia Pacific Mission for Migrants (APMM) and its partners organized a Regional Women Migrants Conference in Bangkok, Thailand. The conference was attended by women migrant’s leaders and advocates from 10 countries and regions across Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

Before the conduct of the Regional Women Migrants Conference, partners of APMM in 10 countries across Asia Pacific and the Middle East already conducted the National Women Migrants Encounter to discuss issues, challenges, demand, and effort of women migrants in defining their new normal amidst the pandemic of Covid-19.

The results of these National Women Migrants Encounters then discussed and elaborate during the Regional Women Migrants Conference. The rich discussion between women migrants’ leaders and advocates have resulted a Regional Women Migrants Agenda.

Regional Women Migrants Agenda consists of the analysis of women migrants’ situations, their demands, and their unity. During the Regional Women Migrants Conference, the participants made a video of the Regional Women Migrants Agenda. Please watch the vibrant voices of women migrants’ leaders and advocates here.

In 2023, series of National Women Migrants Encounter will again conduct in 10 countries and regions across the Asia Pacific and Middle East, to see the development of women migrants’ situations and their efforts during the transition of post-pandemic of Covid-19.
