[APMM Video] Unseen and Unheard

The student interns of APMM produced a video entitled: Unseen and Unheard: The Harsh Realities of Foreign Domestic Workers During the COVID-Era. It highlights their learnings during their internship period and their continuing support to migrant domestic workers advocacy and campaign for better and humane treatment while working in Hong Kong and providing the needs of their families back home.

From September 2022 to April 2023, Philippe Andre Michel Provost, Chung Wai Shun (Wilson) and Cheung Tsz Yam (Charles), all students from Hong Kong University, interned with the APMM. During their internship, they had the opportunity to learn about the work of APMM with and for migrants in the region and to integrate with migrant domestic workers in Central.

APMM’s internship program provides opportunity for university students to learn with migrants and listen to their stories of hope and struggle.
